Optimizing your body's strength

At bodySpan Studio we teach ® / ® methodologies which organically train the entire body in a harmonious way. Movements are yoga-based and all exercises are integrated throughout the whole body, incorporating 3-dimensional ideas taken from dance, swimming and tai chi. Strength and length are equally achieved while increasing flexibility, function and range of motion. Sessions are one-on-one or in small groups, emphasizing focus on the individual in a relaxed setting with stunning mountain views.

Friday, May 29–Sunday, May 31: Inner Life of Ballet™ with Alicia Head. Port de Bras—The Gateway to Artistry
Essential for developing artistry as well as providing support for all aspects of technique, port de bras is often difficult to teach. Using an integrated approach involving breath and bone rhythms, Alicia introduces a way to teach port be bras that has both an anatomical as well as an energetic foundation. Alicia specializes in applying anatomical and energetic cueing to classical ballet. She has over 25 years of teaching experience as a movement professional and ballet teacher.
